The house is located in College Grove, Tennessee. Not in my neck of the woods but, heck, I'd be willing to give it a try. Based on the auction pictures, it truly looks like a gorgeous setting.
The sale is for 150 acres and includes a couple of houses, one of which is over 10,000 square feet. Just think about it. You could invite your entire family to live with you in the house and, possibly, never actually run into each other in a given day.
It really is a beautiful house but I do believe that someone made a bid for 1.6 million and it simply wasn't enough to meet the auction reserve.
I swear the above picture was either in a Restoration Hardware or Pottery Barn catalog. Am I losing my mind? Wait, don't answer that.

I agree very nice but WHY has she got two of her rugs on an angle? I feel like straightening it for her. Could not live like that.
i saw this. there's some nice features but i prefer a cozier spread.
