My brain is starting to think it can replicate paintings that I see in decorating magazines. I've had this thought before and it resulted in 12 bare paint canvases sitting in my bedroom. Wouldn't be such an issue but they've been sitting up there for two years and I still haven't done much with them. Clearly butterfly paintings are my answer.

Butterflies

you can so do it! so easy.
Haha! Yes, you've hit on it! (I do the exact same thing).
Hey--just found your blog through Google and I'm in love. Love the house, your style, and your writing! Have a fun day:)
please do attempt and then share a tutorial- I love those. Have you seen Made By Girl lately? She also make some art for her office and living room that looks pretty and would be easily replicated with different colors. I'm excited to see what you come up with!!
I still remember those stinkin moths!!! I hope your very popular book arrived. xx Ali
Ps Merry Christmas!!!!!!!
I have suffered from the same affliction. Just go for it! It won't be the same as what you wanted to create, but it will be better. I promise. It just happened to me. I started painting something dark and moody and ended up created three soothing, cheery abstracts. Good luck!
