#1: The basement bathroom. It was torn out after the great basement flood of 2007. Oh, did I fail to mention the sewage flood? It happened about one month after we purchased our house. We were in Mexico on vacation for a week and our newly purchased basement flooded with raw sewage. And, while disgusting to the core, I must still thank the City of Seattle for their failure to clean out the sewage pipes because it meant an excuse to tear out this pit.
The bedroom. The paneling is stunning, wouldn't you say? In all seriousness, the basement windows are well-sized and the basement gets a ton of light. A Polyanna-ism if I've ever seen one, but I'm going with it...

It takes vision to see this and know it could look like the earlier post! And you definitely have vision! How horrible that you got flooded (with sewage!) right after moving in! But then again, if you had seen the house afterwards maybe you wouldn't have bought the house so it all worked out?
Oh, and that shower in the prior post is going straight into my files. I would die to have a shower like that!
I'm reeling. But surely all it needs is a woman's finishing touch. A little vase of roses here, a lace doily there, a pretty little dish of sugared almonds. And there you are.
I just threw up in my mouth a little at the thought of your basement filled with yuck...but hey at least you got to rip that pink sucker out :)
