Love Actually...

Our wedding day...

Have I ever told you why we bought our house? One night, after a couple of beers, my husband and I drew pictures of our ultimate interior house plan. The next week, our good friends called and told me about a Dutch Colonial house for sale in their neighborhood. When we drove by the house, I thought they were playing a mean joke on us.

But I kept thinking about it and I was intrigued by my idea of what this house could be and I arranged an interior tour for myself. When I walked inside the house, I was shocked. The layout was EXACTLY what my husband had drawn on his napkin. And so we put in an offer before my husband ever saw the inside of the house.

So when I say we love this house. I really mean it. In fact, we love it so much that we were married here at our house. That picture above? It's what our house looked like on our gray, rainy, February wedding day.

Horrifying wedding venue to some. A perfect location for us.

I so understand! I forgot to tell you that one of the first things I did when spring came around was my hubby and I 'built' our own trellises to hold the wisteria I planted. So far, it's sturdy enough to hold my wildy growing plants. [weeds!]
Love your house!
